Terms of Service

Closet Monthly is free. Don't upload photos you don't own the rights to. Don't post other people's faces without consent. Don't use the AI to harass anyone. We can remove content or accounts that violate these rules. Paid advertisers: you only pay if your content is approved. If we reject it, full refund, same day.

You must be 13 or older to use Closet Monthly. By uploading content, you confirm you own the rights to it and you grant us a limited, non-transferable license to process it for the purpose of delivering the features you use (try-on, categorization, feed posting, etc).

By uploading a selfie or wardrobe photo, you explicitly consent to that image being processed by third-party AI services (Google Gemini, fal.ai, Anthropic). These services run the image through their models ephemerally and do not retain it for training. If you're not comfortable with this, don't upload.

Virtual try-on results (you wearing your clothes) are private to your account by default. They only become public if you deliberately post them to the feed or share a link.

When you post an outfit to the feed, you're making that image public. Don't post: other people's faces without their consent, copyrighted content you don't own, nudity, harassment, or spam. We moderate after the fact — top rule is we'll remove anything that makes the community worse.

Brands that place ads or book magazine sections agree that their content must represent actual products and honest claims. We hand-review everything. If we reject, refund is automatic, same business day. We do not run ads for alcohol to minors, gambling, weapons, or anything else we find incompatible with the audience.

Payments are processed by Stripe. All prices shown in USD. Ad slots and magazine sections are non-refundable after approval + launch, but refundable in full if we reject your content.

Closet Monthly is provided "as is." We work hard to keep AI outputs accurate but we don't guarantee them. If a virtual try-on makes you look weird, we're sorry — send us feedback and we'll improve.

We'll update these terms as we grow. Material changes will be announced by email.
